End of Course Exam
"EOC"

What is it?

 

  • Each year, every single U.S History student in the state of Florida sits for the End of Course Exam.
     

  • It is a 55-60 question, multiple choice cumulative test that includes: graphs, charts, primary/secondary readings, political cartoons, tradition questions. 
     

  • You will have over 2 hours to complete the exam. 

    • ​​

Will I get study material?
 

  • YES!!! Please keep all study guides, and other relevant material to prepare yourself for this exam. Please keep this in your binder.
     

  • You will also receive a comprehensive study guide for the EOC. It is imperative that you keep your Unit Study Guides.
     

  • The saturday before the exam, there will be a 3 hour, US History crash course session held at the school. 

How is my grade calculated?

  • Estimate your final course grade: 

    • (FIN Grade X .70) + (EOC Grade X .30) = Estimated Grade for class

What if I score high on the EOC but fail the class?​
