TARDY

At FPC, there is only a limited amount of time before each class. I understand that sometimes it may take longer than normal. As a compromise, I give students 1 minute after the bell before they are counted late to class. You have a total of 6 transition minutes. On the 7th minute, you are considered tardy to class.

Here is the Tardy tracking system per our school policy.​

 

  1. Friendly verbal warning to student

  3. 1st Formal Warning
     

  4. 2nd Formal Warning
     

  5. Tardy/Late referral. Student will receive a referral for each tardy to class until the end of the 9 weeks.

SKIPPING

 

Skipping class refers to arriving to class more than 5 minutes after the door shuts. Remember, I am giving you 6 transition minutes between classes (5 school minutes + 1 additional minutes). You are considered skipping if you arrive WITHOUT a pass. If you are going to have to use the restroom, check into class FIRST then go.

  • Disciplinary: Referral

  • Formative work: Required by deadline. Late work policy applies.
     

  • Summative assessments: Must be made up after school (teacher discretion for in class makeup)
